A Red Rainfall Warning has been raised over Metro Manila and six other areas in Luzon on Monday afternoon due to the effects of Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 2 p.m. advisory, rainfall warnings are in effect over the following areas:
Red Rainfall Warning (Serious flooding is expected in flood-prone areas) • Bataan • Metro Manila • Zambales (Subic, Olongapo, San Antonio, Castillejos) • Pampanga (Floridablanca, Lubao, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Masantol) • Bulacan (Obando, Bulakan, Malolos, Meycauayan, Hagonoy, Paombong) • Rizal (San Mateo, Rodriguez, Antipolo, Cainta, Taytay) • Cavite (Bacoor, Cavite City, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta, Rosario)
Orange Rainfall Warning (Flooding is threatening) • Zambales (Botolan, San Marcelino, Cabangan, Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz, San Felipe, San Narciso) • Pampanga (Porac, Minalin, Guagua, Santa Rita) • Bulacan (Balagtas, Bocaue, Calumpit, Guiguinto, Marilao, Plaridel, San Jose del Monte, Santa Maria) • Cavite (General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Gen.
