Maymay moves over Gamu, Isabela; Signal No. 1 up over 15 areas

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is raised over 15 areas in Luzon as Tropical Depression Maymay moved over Gamu, Isabela on Thursday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 2 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the following areas are under Signal No. 1:
Maymay was last located in the vicinity of Gamu, Isabela with maximum sustained winds of 45 km per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 75 kph.
The tropical depression was moving east southeastward at 20 kph.
“MAYMAY will traverse the mountainous terrain of Northern Luzon before emerging over the eastern coastal waters of Isabela within the next 12 hours,” PAGASA said.
