The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is expected to affect the weather over Luzon and the Visayas on Sunday, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday.
In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the Habagat is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Occidental Mindoro.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast over Visayas and the rest of Luzon.
In Mindanao, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast over the western section of Luzon, with waves ranging from 1.5 to 2.8 meters.
