itel has launched the Ace 3 Heera, a new feature phone priced at Rs 949, marking the completion of the company’s shift to Type-C charging across its entire feature phone lineup in India.
itel says it is now the first feature phone brand in India to offer Type-C charging across its complete feature phone range, including entry-level models. The company frames this as a practical shift for users who currently need separate cables for their smartphone and feature phone, letting a single Type-C cable charge both instead.
The Ace 3 Heera is available in Blue, Purple, and Black, sold through retail stores across India at Rs 949. itel is also offering a 1-year Counter Replacement policy covering manufacturing defects on its feature phones.
itel also cited a recent Cyber Media Research report on durability, reliability, and affordability in India’s device market, which gave the brand scores of 0.65 in feature phones and 0.86 in smartphones, the highest in their respective segments. The same report found that 85 percent of consumers felt they received good value for money from itel, 81 percent associated the brand with strength and durability, 79 percent appreciated its design, and 74 percent considered it trustworthy and reliable.
