With Google’s Made by Google event roughly two weeks away, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has now leaked in what look like genuine official marketing renders, shared by longtime leaker Evan Blass through his Leakmail newsletter. The images confirm most of what’s already been rumoured, while adding one detail that could actually matter more than the design itself.
What the renders actually show
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold looks largely unchanged from last year’s model at first glance, and that’s not really a surprise. Google has previously said it plans to refresh Pixel hardware designs every two to three years rather than overhauling them annually. The renders show an 8-inch inner display with the selfie camera tucked into the top-right corner, thick bezels, and a hinge with no visible gap, a detail that typically points to strong water resistance, likely IP68 or higher.
The clearest change is to the camera setup on the back. Instead of last year’s unified camera bar, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold now shows a stacked design with two distinct rows of sensors. Sitting within that new camera housing, integrated into the flash, is Google’s rumoured Pixel Glow, a colour-changing RGB light element expected to appear across the entire Pixel 11 Pro lineup. Google itself has already teased Pixel Glow on the standalone Pixel 11 Pro, so its appearance here isn’t a total surprise.
Even the colour name is unsettled
Here’s a genuinely odd wrinkle in this leak. The green finish shown in these renders has been reported under at least three different names across otherwise credible outlets, Pine, Moss, and Olive, with no clear consensus on which is correct. One outlet covering the leak put it bluntly: three labels for one finish means the name isn’t settled, and the only safe statement right now is that the Pro Fold is coming in some shade of green. Alongside the Fold, Blass also shared images of Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the same green shade, and what appears to be a glimpse of a new Pixel Watch, likely the Pixel Watch 5, also expected on August 12.
The detail that actually matters more than the design
Buried underneath the visual leaks is a more consequential rumour. Leaked battery figures for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold have circulated between roughly 4,658mAh and 4,800mAh, landing below the 5,015mAh Google officially lists for the current Pixel 10 Pro Fold. If accurate, that would mean a battery capacity decrease year-over-year, something Google’s new Tensor G6 chip would need to offset through efficiency gains alone, and Tensor chips haven’t historically had the strongest track record on that front.
Thickness has reportedly improved slightly though, with the folded body measuring around 10.1mm, marginally slimmer than its predecessor.
Some reports suggest the Pixel 11 family’s marketing, and the Pro Fold’s in particular, will lean heavily on “Gemini Intelligence” branding, though Google hasn’t confirmed this directly. Pricing details reportedly circulating for European and UK markets point to a starting price in the range of roughly EUR 1,999 or GBP 1,799 for the base storage option, though these figures remain unconfirmed leaks rather than official Google pricing. Separate reporting suggests Google has already signalled higher prices across the Pixel 11 lineup generally, tied to rising memory costs affecting hardware makers industry-wide.
Google is expected to officially unveil the full Pixel 11 series, including the Pro Fold, at its Made by Google event in New York on August 12, where all of these leaked details should finally get confirmed or corrected.
