Krafton, the developers of PUBG Mobile and BGMI in India have confirmed that the BGMI Lite version is launching in the country by the end of this year. The popular mobile game is going to make its way to more gamers and as the company says making its “flagship franchise accessible to even more players.”
BGMI has been around in the country for a while and was the Indian version of PUBG Mobile which was banned in the early 2020’s for all gamers. BGMI Lite has been in the news previously but this is the first time Krafton has confirmed its existence and also shared a launch timeline for this version in the country.
BGMI Lite India Launch Soon: What To Expect
BGMI Lite launch in India has felt like an inevitable story and Krafton already has a history with a Lite gaming app when PUBG Lite was introduced in the market (and then banned). Having BGMI Lite also means you don’t need premium hardware or higher RAM to run the game. However, the Lite version will surely have some limitations in the gameplay features, the overall graphics quality and few more options that would have been power-intensive.
