After rolling out special menus for festivals and other occasions, McDonald’s appeared to have found another way to make its menu feel distinctly Indian. They have introduced Shravan Specials. The special menu for the month of Shravan (between July and August) has caught people’s attention online, featuring only vegetarian options.
In a post on X, a man shared a picture of the menu displayed at a McDonald’s outlet, writing, “First in my bloodline to see McDonald’s selling upvaas ka khaana.” The menu displayed in the image includes two Shravan combos with unsalted fries and shakes, as well as their Signature 7 Veggies Burger, alongside other familiar options customised, including McAloo Tikki NONG Burger and Mexican McAloo Tikki NONG Burger.
