Losing a job is not just about missing a monthly salary; it is also about the toll it takes on every aspect of someone’s life. From the uncertainty of finding the next opportunity to seeing savings drained while continuously paying bills, it is bound to take a toll on someone who has lost their job. One man, who has been unemployed for 2.5 months, candidly talked about his current life.
In a video posted on Instagram, Shubh opened up about his life after losing his job, saying that the two-and-a-half-month period of repetitive routine has left him mentally fatigued. “I don’t have a job anymore. It’s been 2.5 months,” he said. “What’s going on in life? Nothing. Mental fatigue. It’s the same routine.”
He also pointed out that the financial pressure after losing a job is even greater in a metro city, where expenses continue regardless of one’s employment status. “The burden of living in metro cities is different. Every month, rent, electricity, and a lot of other things. The pain of losing your savings, I don’t know what to say,” he added.
