The primary market is set for another busy week, with seven companies set to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs) between August 17 and August 21, collectively looking to raise more than Rs 6,400 crore.
The upcoming IPO rush will be led by Blackstone-backed Horizon Industrial Parks and jewellery retailer Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, which will open their public issues on August 17. Shankesh Jewellers and Sunshine Pictures will follow on August 18, while Gaja Alternative Asset Management will open its IPO on August 19. Tempsens Instruments is scheduled to enter the primary market on August 20, followed by Augmont Enterprises on August 21.
The six issues for which the total offer sizes are currently known, excluding the final size of Tempsens Instruments, already account for around Rs 6,324 crore. Tempsens will have a fresh issue of Rs 95 crore along with an offer for sale, taking the combined fundraising figure for the seven companies above the Rs 6,400-crore mark.
