It was 2023 when Hailey Bieber gave us the “strawberry girl” makeup look, and before we knew it, rosy cheeks and juicy lips had taken over our social feeds. Suddenly, every makeup tutorial and glossy magazine cover was serving that flushed-cheek aesthetic, and honestly, we were eating it up. But years later, with beauty trends coming and going faster than we can update our moodboards, this one still has us in a chokehold. The formula? A pretty rosy flush, pink-red cheeks and juicy lips that bring just the right amount of fresh, playful sass.

How To Nail Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Makeup
Let’s start with the obvious star of the show. blush. In her original strawberry makeup tutorial, Hailey prepped her skin with Rhode Glazing Milk and Peptide Glazing Fluid before moving on to cream bronzer, concealer, two cream blush shades and a peachy highlighter. She also added faux freckles, a tiny cat-eye and a glossy lip to finish the look.

While we’d happily raid Hailey’s beauty shelf, you don’t need to splurge on every product to recreate the look. There are plenty of high-end and budget-friendly alternatives that can give you that same fresh, rosy and slightly flushed finish.
For the skin, Rhode Glazing Milk is the obvious choice if you want to follow Hailey’s routine, but e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a more wallet-friendly way to bring some glow to your base. Keep the foundation light, add concealer only where you need it and let your skin show through.

Now comes the fun part, the blush. Hailey used two cream blushes in her original tutorial, taking the colour across her cheeks and nose for that pretty strawberry flush. Rhode Pocket Blush is a great high-end pick, while e.l.f. Putty Blush or Insight Cosmetics Cream Blush can give you that soft, buildable colour without making your wallet panic.
Go for strawberry pink, warm rose or soft red shades and build the colour slowly. Take it across the cheekbones and lightly over the bridge of the nose. And yes, you can go a little heavier with the blush. That’s where the fun is.

Now the lips are where the strawberry theme really comes together. Hailey’s viral combination included NYX Professional Makeup Slim Lip Pencil in Nude Truffle and Rhode’s Peptide Lip Treatment in Strawberry Glaze. She used the lip pencil to softly define her lips before adding the glossy treatment.

If you want to recreate the exact vibe without spending too much, NYX Slim Lip Pencil itself is already a great budget-friendly option. For something even more affordable, Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner can give you that softly defined lip. Finish with Maybelline Lifter Gloss or e.l.f. Lip Lacquer for the juicy shine.
If you’re happy to splurge, Rhode’s Peptide Lip Treatment is the obvious pick for that glossy, cushiony finish. And if you want a little more colour, Rhode Peptide Lip Tint gives you that sheer wash of rosy colour without turning the look into a full-on lipstick moment.
For the eyes, you don’t need to compete with all that blush. Hailey kept hers subtle with a tiny cat-eye and mascara, so there’s no need to go all-out with eyeshadow.
For a high-end option, Lancôme Lash Idôle Mascara gives you separated, lifted lashes without making them look too heavy. On the budget side, Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara is an easy pick for length and definition.
And for that little flick, NYX Epic Ink Liner is a great affordable option. Keep the line thin and slightly lifted at the outer corner.
Then comes one of the cutest details of Hailey’s original look: faux freckles. She dotted them across her nose and cheeks to give the makeup a more playful, lived-in finish.
You can pick up a dedicated faux-freckle pen such as Freck OG, or simply use a fine-tipped brown eyeliner if you don’t want to buy another product. Tap a few tiny dots across the nose and upper cheeks, then gently press over them with your finger so they don’t look too perfect.
The best part is that you really don’t need a whole new makeup bag. Fresh skin, lots of rosy blush, softly defined eyes, faux freckles and a glossy berry lip will get you most of the way there.
