If Japan has long been on your bucket list, planning the trip may have just become a lot easier. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a 10-day, 9-night escorted tour to Japan from Delhi, offering Indian travellers a chance to explore some of the country’s most iconic destinations, including a visit to the majestic Mount Fuji.
According to IRCTC, the tour departs from Delhi on October 17, 2026, with package prices starting at ₹3.46 lakh per person on a triple-sharing basis. Twin-sharing accommodation is priced at ₹3.62 lakh per person, while solo travellers can opt for single occupancy at ₹4.08 lakh. For children aged 5-11 years, the rates are ₹2,92,499 with a bed and ₹2,63,999 without a bed.
The tour departs on September 6 and returns on September 15. Travellers will fly All Nippon Airways (ANA) from Delhi to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and back. The itinerary covers Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima.
Applicants need a passport valid for at least six months from the return date, along with a PAN card and documents required for the Japan visa. The itinerary is indicative and may change based on operational requirements.
