Toxic’s trailer is finally out, and it was unveiled at a grand event in the presence of the film’s cast. Nayanthara, who plays a pivotal role in the film, opened up about working with Yash in Toxic and said that while she has worked with many superstars, she noticed that Yash’s “larger-than-life” persona transcends even into his real life. However, Nayanthara also surprised the crowd when she revealed that she was unsure about signing Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.
‘Yash Is Just Like Raya From Toxic’
Nayanthara fondly called Yash “Rocky bhai” and said, “It’s like how you see him in the trailer, no? He’s like that in real. But, beyond that, let me tell you, I have never ever seen a more hardworking actor than Yash. Every single day on set, I’m just amazed at the way he works. This man has given 4.5 years of his life, and trust me when I tell you, he has literally sacrificed his life, his time with his family, his time with his kids, his personal life and everything he would enjoy.”

The actress said that Yash only focuses on work and cares about every actor and crew member giving their best to the film. She lauded him for taking care of director Geetu Mohandas as well. “I’ve never seen an actor or producer do that,” she said. Nayanthara also expressed her respect for Yash as an actor, a husband and a family man. She also lauded his honesty. “You are where you are today because of the incredible hard work that you have done and have been doing,” she said.
Nayanthara Was Hesitant To Sign Toxic
However, Nayanthara also revealed that she was unsure about signing Toxic because she doesn’t like to work in a film with as many actors. She said, “When she (director Geetu) called me for the film, I wasn’t so sure because there are a lot of actors in the film, and I’m usually a little careful or maybe a little apprehensive about choosing a film where there are a lot of actors… I said, ‘No, I don’t think I want to do the film.’ She asked me some 10 million questions. I said, ‘Okay, it’s fine, just come and narrate it to me.'”
