On August 14, the court granted an ad interim injunction against the unauthorised online and cable distribution of the partition drama. Keeping in mind the growing problem of piracy in films, the makers of the film tackled it beforehand by moving the Madras High Court to seek protection against piracy and the film’s unauthorised online and cable distribution. The production house was granted an interim injunction by the court on August 14.
